Imo people have been charged to take the advantage of the re-election of Governor Hope Uzodinma, to present their basic needs for immediate attention.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Imo Orientation Agency, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke gave the charge in Owerri while reacting to the victory of the Governor at the polls.
Chief Onyeneke said that the Governor is sensitive to the yearnings of the people, and as such, determined to address the issues.
The Special described the victory of the Governor as a blessing that would add more value to the well-being of Imo residents.
Chief Onyeneke said that the people had more opportunities to benefit from the dividends of democracy as enunciated by the State government.
He said that the government was poised to embark on more projects that would touch positively on the lives of the masses as well as further enhance the living standard of the people.
Chief Onyeneke commended Imo people for re-electing the Governor, assuring that Governor Uzodinma’s second tenure would bring accelerated progress, unity and peace in Imo State.
The Special Adviser solicited the cooperation of everyone with the Governor, since the success of the government is the joint responsibility of all and sundry.
Chief Onyeneke advised the various Communities to articulate their priority needs and channel them through the appropriate authorities for Government intervention.
The Special Adviser urged the masses to imbibe the spirit of oneness, and be alive to their civic obligations in order to ensure the success of the government.
Chief Onyeneke reminded the people that with the right attitude and support, Senator Uzodinma would deliver greater services for the betterment of the State.
