As Governorship and House of Assembly elections hold on March 11, 2023, APC candidate for Onuimo State Constituency in Imo Assembly, Hon. Uba James Esile, has promised to install infrastructure such as roads, electricity, healthcare, water, encourage quality education, including training youths on meaningful skills to make them more productive and employable if he goes to the House of Assembly.
He said he would ensure that quality road is attracted at the constituency to encourage the people who he added are predominant farmers to enable them produce massively, as well as transport their farm or agricultural products to the markets without hitches, regretting that the major problem confronting the people of Onuimo is the road infrastructure.
Uba who made the promise when he had audience with journalists in Owerri on Tuesday, pledged that many youths of Onuimo local government area would be trained on meaningful skills that will make them employable and productive to help them cushion poverty, suffering and hardship for a peaceful, comfort, secured and progressive society.
He stated that he will achieve all these promises he made to the people of the area because he is a grassroot politician who deeply knows the problems of the people both humanly and materially.
While pointing out that he is an astute and pragmatic politician who thinks well of the goodness, welfare and wellbeing of the people of Onuimo, Uba noted that it is the turn of his bloc to produce House of Assembly Member if equity and zoning are good ingredients of democratic politics and governance.
“As a grassroot man, I actually know the problems of the people of Onuimo both human, material, structural and infrastructural developments. Also, I will encourage quality education, youth skill acquisition among others to make them more productive and employable in order to beat poverty and suffering. Hence I call on the people of Onuimo to give me their mandate to enable me give them fair and people oriented representation”.
