It was all joy for residents of Ikenegbu, Aladimma and Orji in Owerri municipality as the Chief Executive Officer of Cocean Filling Station, Dr Chinedu Ndubuisi, distributed five litres of fuel, cooking gas, kerosene and diesel free to consumers in the area.
Those who were not able to get their own free share because of the large numbers of people that turned out, however bought the products at a subsided rate.
The residents and motorists were happy at the kindness shown to them by the owner of the filling station hence they prayed to God to replenish him and make the filling station sell increasingly.
One of the customers and a motorist, Architect Akoh Uchenna, said Cocean Filling Station did not only give free fuel, kerosene, diesel and cooking gas to people, but shirts, caps and other gifts, describing Cocean products as the best in town.
Some personalities across Imo State especially people from Ihitte- Uboma local government area of Imo State, as Dr Onumuo Wilson Harold, a businessman and a politician, Barr Leo Iwuoma and PRO, Petroleum Marketing Association, Imo State branch, Uche Switch, appreciated Dr Chinedu Ndubuisi for opening the filling station as well as given free fuel, diesel, kerosene and cooking gas to people, saying the benevolence was encouraging and should be emulated by wealthy and business minded Imo sons and daughters.
Speaking to journalists, COE, Cocean Filling Station, Dr Chinedu Ndubuisi, said, I like “making people happy in the right way and at the right time, benevolence is priceless as good life is worth living. Good and secured environment which Imo is proud of encourages investment, employment and development”.
He said that he was driven by excellence, safe and conducive environment which triggered him to establish the business in Owerri, Ndubuisi maintained that he likes being the best while helping people out of poverty.
“It is important to encourage people to grow financially. And the need to invest in Imo for accelerated development is encouraging”, Ndubuisi maintained.
He urged Imo people, residents of Owerri and motorists to always patronize Cocean Filling Station.
