The Divisional Police headquarters in Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has evacuated the corpse of a day old baby boy dumped at a waste bin at the median of Ikwerre road opposite Egede street Mile 2 Diobu on Wednesday night .
Residents of the area told our correspondent said they saw the baby when they came to dispose waste bin
Large crowd were attracted to the scene which resulted to heavy traffic gridlock in the area, after the residents raised alarm
Satchets of injection was also found close to the dead baby.
Some residents who spoke to our correspondent, describe the action of the unknown mother as barbaric.
Meanwhile Prince Wiro Secretary Board of Trustee Centre For Basic Rights And Accountability Campaign who was also at the scene expressed sadness on the development while describing it as inhumane, evil and height of wickedness.
Recall that three weeks ago a decomposing body of an infant was also found at a waste bin site.
