The health condition of the detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has continued to deteriorate in the custody of the Department Of State Services DSS who has continued to detained him despite the appeal court ruling which discharged and acquitted him of all allegations brought against him by the federal government of Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu has previously been diagnosed with a heartburn disease which was caused by ulcer, also it was letter report that Nnamdi Kanu has developed a ear problem in his left ear which requires urgent surgery to avoid expansion of the disease.
According to IPOB all efforts by Nnamdi Kanu’s legal team to get Kanu released or be transferred to Kuje prison where he will probably taken care of,was turned down by the DSS and the federal government of Nigeria as his heart continue to melt down.
In another report, it was disclosed that the DSS has transferred an inmate with a tuberculosis infection closer to Nnamdi Kanu’s prison which many people have condemned as tagged as a ploy to exterminate Nnamdi Kanu by infecting with deadly diseases.
In May 11th 2023 the appeal filed by Nnamdi Kanu’s legal team seeking to stay the order obtained by the federal government of Nigeria to continue to detain Nnamdi Kanu until the final judgement of the supreme court and to grant Nnamdi Kanu medical leave was adjourned to September 11th 2023.
According to a report made available to DAILYNEWSLINK has that Nnamdi Kanu’s health condition had continued to deteriorate as the disease which was on his left ear has affected also his two ears which according to report is going to affect his eardrum if not properly taken care of.
This is according to a press statement by Simon Ekpa a self acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu and also the self acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government In Exile on Wednesday.
According to him, he said that Nnamdi Kanu is currently in severe pains as he cannot sleep again at night due to the excruciating pains he is passing through.
According to him, Nnamdi Kanu should be release immediately to avoid anything on toward happening to him.
The Statement Reads: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu present condition. I have been directed by our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to alert the world on his present condition and his demand.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has instructed me to let Nigerians, Biafrans and all human rights organisations to know that the ear ailment, which was inflicted on him as a result of torture, has been disturbing him on his left ear. The infection has now affected his right ear and need urgent surgery.
The DSS has finally brought a doctor, which confirmed that an urgent surgery is needed because he is in severe pain and couldn’t sleep again.
Our leader also instructed me to alert the world to know that any time his case is coming up either here in Nigeria or outside Nigeria, the Nigeria Government will sponsor multiple killings in the South East so as to ascribe it to IPOB and blackmail IPOB.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu also instructed me to let the world know that Justice Haruna Tsammani who corruptly granted an order asking Government not to obey the court of Appeal Judgment to release in the guise of stay of execution which is unknown to Nigeria judicial system is the same person chairing the panel of Presidential election petition tribunal in Nigeria.
Both his Application to transfer him to Kuje correctional center and Application for his bail were all ripped for hearing but Supreme court failed to hear them and give bench ruling showing that they are being controlled by the government.
The world should also know that since the history of law in the entire world, this is the first time a superior court of record ie Court of Appeal which is second to the highest court of the land will give judgment and discharge someone and the same Court of Appeal through another Panel ask the authorities of Government not to obey the judgement by granting unknown stay of execution to the Government authorities.
