A community in Isu LGA of Imo state, Okoroduru Ekwe Autonomous community, last weekend officially presented their Eze-elect, HRH Eze Engr. M. Ezeugo Nwoke, Igwe Ohazurumee II of Okoroduru Ekwe to the LGA Sole administrator, as part of the code of conduct guiding the installation of a new king.
Speaking at the formal presentation which took place at the council headquarters, the sole administrator Chief Hon Ifeanyi Oguzie while receiving the new king at the council expressed delight at the fulfillment of part of the process of installation, noted that he will grant the community and the new king the needed assistance and cooperation they require in piloting the affairs of the community and express optimism that the state government will also do it’s best to ensure the issuance of Staff of Office at the appropriate time.
He also assured that the Eze- elect been an enlightened and vibrant young man will produce the required result for the community.
He affirmed that the reign of the king will promote peace and harmony while urging the community to support the king to make his reign successful.
The Eze- elect Eze Engr M. Ezeugo Nwoke who is the successor of the late Traditional ruler, Eze Fortunatus Awubenne Nwoke, lgwe Ohazurume I of Okoroduru Ekwe, while responding after the presentation, thanked the SOLAD and everyone who came to identify with him and assured of his readiness to rule with the fear of God and lead the people meritoriously as expected.
The king while commending the outlook of the LGA council thanked the governor, the executive governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his achievements in the LGA and promised to work in synergy with the government to ensure his community is developed.
He noted that within the few months of his ascension to the throne, he has lots of projects to his credit and promised to achieve more.
He further urged the entire community to live in peace and harmony.
The president general of the Community pst. Paul Nwakanma while speaking to the press said with the new king who is well educated and has travelled wide, will bring developmental ideas to the community and maintained that the family of the king and the community unanimously accepted the king, therefore there is no tussle about the throne.
A community leader of the community, Chief Oliver Udechukwu while speaking noted that the ceremony is a historic one and prayed God to grant the king wisdom to achieve a successful reign more than his predessessor.
The chairman, Eze’s Cabinet Chief lrennus Oguekusi while commending the presentation of the king disclosed that the community has taken the right step to fulfill their obligation.
He noted that the king has already lots of developmental projects to his credit within the few period of ascending the throne and prayed God to grant him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the community.

Also speaking, the youth leader of the community, Mr Chima Obizuo in his response disclosed that the traditional ruler has started on a good slate with the level of development he has brought to the community and assured of the youths support to his leadership.
In his own words, the special Adviser to the king, Nze Agu Uzor (Nze- Obi) stated that the reign of the king will usher in a new era of leadership which will place the community at a higher pedestal compared to other autonomous communities.
He further wished the king a successful reign.
